Let’s keep it real. Many brands and designers try to use sustainability and market it to get your attention without anything to back up their claims.
That is why we do extensive research to determine if a bran is aligned with our values and make sure it can benefit you and have a positive impact on our planet.
We only approve and work with manufactures, designers and brands that show sustainability transparency, have ethical practices, use better materials/ingredients, focus on reducing waste and their carbon footprint and use their business as a force for good.
Shipping
According to Oceana, Amazon 𑁋 the online retail giant generated 465 million pounds of plastic packaging waste in 2019 with approximately 7 billion of their packages delivered in 2019. That’s Amazon, alone! We understand the convenience of a few clicks and one day shipping. All of us have been guilty of getting trapped like that. But those habits are killing the planet and things have to change!
Shipping is something that we take very seriously, knowing that it’s not perfect, but constantly looking to improve it! Our shipping is 100% plastic-free and will always stay that way! We use post-consumer recycled cardboard boxes that are reusable, recyclable and compostable.
To secure the boxes and ensure they get to your doorstep safely, we use compostable, water activated tape. Our shipping labels are inkless and compostable, and the stickers are FSC Certified acid-free paper printed with soy-based inks. We encourage our customers to reuse boxes whenever possible as we try to do the same with the boxes, we receive from our wholesale partners.
